The Hair Conditioning Guide

Our 3 steps to well conditioned hair

If you follow these tips you should get the best results when using your conditioner.

Applying
Pour the conditioner into your hands and rub them together, in much the same way as you would do for shampoo. Then apply evenly all over your hair. Make sure that you pay particular attention to the ends as these are the parts of the hair in most need of conditioning. Do not rub into the scalp.

Rinsing
As many conditioners are different it is best to follow the time instructions on the back of the product. Some products advise leaving on the hair for several minutes, some recommend instant rinsing. Whatever the product it is vitally important that you rinse the product out thoroughly and do not leave it on longer than directed as this can dull the hair. Rinse again, you cannot over rinse.
Detangling
After rinsing the hair will be much easier to detangle. For best results a wide toothed comb should be used. Start from the ends of the hair and gently work your way towards the scalp.
